I’ve been thinking about a pet fundraiser for the Humane Society of Greenwood all year, and finally I can say…. it’s ON!! Pets are a special part of our lives and deserve a spot on our walls too! The last time we held this fundraiser was 2 years ago and since that time three of the pets I photographed have passed on and to hear what their owners have to say about having their portrait as a keepsake.

Delane Morin wrote to me last year about her lab Champ: “Champ was 11 when he passed away on 1/15/2011 – he taught me so much about life and love and what it is really all about. I miss him dearly … he was the epitome of THE BEST DOG IN THE WORLD! I can’t tell you how thankful I had his portrait made [during the HSOG Fund Raiser last year] before he passed – you did an amazing job and captured his personality beautifully .. even now it bring tears to my eyes! I will cherish it always!”
This year our Paws & Claws event will be held November 9th & 10th. Appointments are being booked 20 minutes apart. Sometimes a pet can be photographed in 5 minutes, and sometimes it takes the entire 20. Pet owners are welcome to be photographed with their animals. Any session involving more than 2 owners will need to book 2 sessions in order to allow for more time.
The portrait sessions are $100, with 50% going to the Humane Society of Greenwood, and 50% towards your order. This fee must be paid at the time of booking your appointment and sessions are based on a first come first served basis.
