From Arizona to New York, Florida to Washington, people from fifteen other states — most who’ve never set food in Greenwood, SC — donated to help our local animals. Seattle Microsoft employee, Chris Davis (Nancy Akers’ son), recruited co-workers to donate through Microsoft and their matching gifts program. As a result, fellow Microsoft employee, Dave Madsen, generously donated $1,800, coupled with the matching gifts totals $3,600! It’s this sort of creative fund raising that makes the Heart & Sole Dog Walk successful each and every year!
