Safeguard the Pet You Love: Microchip Clinic Saturday, April 27, 10a to 1p

We are having a microchip clinic on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic facility, located at 241 Wilbanks Circle in Greenwood (behind the Greenwood County Animal Shelter). The microchip implant and registration are available for $15.00. Make sure cats are in carriers and dogs on leashes.

4 Reasons to Microchip Your Pet

  • Only true permanent method of pet identification
  • Best chance of your pet returning to you after going missing
  • Quick and painless procedure, similar to vaccination
  • Lasts for the lifetime of your pet

Of the 4,400 dogs and cats received at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter last year, 2,676 were stray or lost and only 5% had identification.
