The Humane Society of Greenwood is celebrating the American Humane Association’s national Adopt-A-Cat Month this June. It’s an ideal time to adopt a feline, since the spring and summer months typically bring a surge of kittens and cats to the nation’s shelters.
Each spring during “kitten season,” thousands of newborn kittens join the millions of cats already in shelters across the country. That means your Greenwood County Animal Shelter has tons of cute, cuddly newborns, in addition to all the mellow, older cats and everything in between.
