Cat adoption fees at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter will be free for the month of February. The HSOG received a Cat Chow “Building Better Lives” cat adoption grant from Purina and Petfinder Foundation. The program provides funding to subsidize cat adoption fees helping to find cats their forever homes. Adopted cats are vaccinated, leukemia tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. Regular adoption processes apply.
The adoption center is located at 235 Wilbanks Circle behind the Greenwood Civic Center, open Monday through Saturday, 10:00a to 5:00p, and can be contacted at 864.942.8775 or adoption@gwdhumanesociety.org.
