Haze
This little girl fancies herself a bit of a diva, always expecting to be the center of attention. Haze is a small to medium-sized Terrier mix with a lovely buff-colored coat and long slender legs that allow her to proudly prance around like the lady she is, especially when she’s decked out in a favorite sweater. At 5 years old, she’s past the high-energy puppy stage, but she still appreciates walks and outside playtime. She’s always delighted to meet new people, but isn’t fond of other animals and prefers to be “an only child.” Haze is lively and outgoing but also more than willing to relax and curl up in your lap on a cold winter day.
Hobson
This handsome kitty is looking for a family that will give him all the love he deserves. Hobson sports a striking black and white coat, which includes an eye-catching spray of white across his mostly dark face. He’s a sweet boy, happily accepting attention, often responding with a kiss or two of his own. At just 9 months old, he’s quite energetic, and he likes to play a little rough at times, so he’s better suited to a home with adults or older children. Hobson prefers two-legged companions over four-legged ones, and he’s not afraid to talk to his humans, letting them know exactly what it is that he wants or needs.
The adoption fees are free for both featured pets through January 13, 2017. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the Greenwood County Animal Shelter at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Monday through Saturday, 11a to 4:30p.
