Sergeantina
Sergeantina truly is the whole package: smart, affectionate, fun-loving, and as pretty as a picture. This sweet-faced, brown and white Staffordshire Terrier mix is just under 2 years old, so she has many years of love left. She’s quite active and thinks toys are a fantastic invention, but she’d prefer not to have to share them with furry siblings, as she believes attention is best if given just to her. Sergeantina is also a lover of treats, so as she’s proving just how bright she is, she’ll be delighted to be rewarded with a few tasty morsels. But don’t think she’s all energy and playfulness, for she loves to snuggle on the couch as well, as long as she’s allowed to pick the movie.
Sophia
If you’ve never seen a dilute calico, let Sophia be the first to show you just how uniquely beautiful these cats are. Some people describe them as white cats that have played around in watercolors rather than bright oil paints, and once you see Sophia’s mixture of soft grays and light orangey-tans, you’ll understand why. This one-year-old kitty has a personality that perfectly matches her gorgeous exterior. She’s sweet and affectionate, readily coming to you for scratches and cuddles and rewarding you with her gentle purr. She also seems content to share her space with other cats and children, so she’s sure to be a wonderful addition to your family.
The adoption fees are free for both featured pets through October 20, 2018. To see these and other available dogs and cats for adoption, visit the HSOG Adoption Center located at 2820 Airport Road, Tuesday through Saturday, 12p to 5p.
