What better way to spend your summer days than making friends, learning about how to care for animals, and having LOTS of fun?
At Camp Good Dog For Kids children learn, by working with dogs from the Animal Shelter, how to train and care for dogs, ways to make the community a safer place for pets, and how to be a responsible pet owner. Not only will Campers learn a lot and have fun, the Animal Shelter dogs love the attention and TLC.
The Humane Society is looking for mature 8 to 14-year-old campers who want to build on their love for animals by learning how to provide a lifetime of love and care for companion animals. The Camp promotes kindness and compassion for all creatures. Camp is June 10 to 21, 2013, and is held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Graduation will be June 22. Cost for camp is $200. Registrations are first-come, first-serve and space is limited to twelve campers. Only kids who can attend all sessions of the two week Camp will be registered. The Consent and Liability form should be completed and submitted at the time of registration.
To register your child, please bring completed registration and liability forms and registration fee payment to the Adoption Center located at 235 Wilbanks Circle in Greenwood (located behind the Civic Center and Farmer’s Market), Monday through Saturday 10a to 5p and Sunday 1p to 4p or mail to: Humane Society of Greenwood, P.O.
