Animal Control services are provided by both the City of Greenwood Police Department and Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office. To report a stray in your community or suspected animal abuse/neglect, please call:
The Humane Society of Greenwood has no jurisdiction to investigate animal cruelty or neglect complaints. We work with appropriate law enforcement officials to report animal abuse and neglect and provide care to the animals brought to the Greenwood County Animal Shelter.
