Eve
Red-nosed Pit Bulls are considered rather rare, but the Humane Society of Greenwood has a gorgeous mix right under your nose! Miss Eve is the perfect dog waiting oh so patiently for her forever home. You can often seen Eve stretched out resting contently in the yard as if she was Cleopatra overlooking her subjects. She is, after all, the Queen of all Things. She will gladly serve as a partner going on an adventurous walk or lie at your feet while you chill and watch TV. She is a beauty with a fire red coat and hazel eyes who will be sure to steal your heart as well as your gaze.
Toaster
Pet orange tiger “Toaster” and even the expression on his face becomes warm, he fairly glows with pleasure; his green eyes close halfway and radiate bliss, and his mouth turns up in a contented little smile. This clean and handsome 2 year-old friend is feline-quiet affection personified; you’ll bask in his attention when he gives you a tender head butt, and adore him for his “low maintenance” manner, too. You see Toaster was a gentleman stray, and although he’s there when you need him, he would happily be your outside cat — one with lots of petting privileges, of course. Or bring him in and see what he’s been waiting to prove all along — he’s neat as can be — a tidier cat-man you won’t find — or a finer litter box. Warmth and appreciation go together, in Toaster’s view, and he’ll do everything he can to win your praise. He’s fine with other cats — dogs too — and he’s calm and patient with children. Come see Toaster and treat your fingertips to his soft, comforting companionship. He’ll wander silently into your heart, and you’ll want him around for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, too.
