The Humane Society of Greenwood is celebrating October’s National Adopt-A-Shelter-Dog Month at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. During the month of October, dog adoption fees are discounted 50%! All dogs are vetted: spayed/neutered, vaccinated, HTWM tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
The Greenwood County Animal Shelter has dogs of every type, size, age and personality waiting for loving homes. Visit the Animal Shelter during October at 235 Wilbanks Circle, Greenwood, SC, or the Humane Society website at gwdhumanesociety.org to see adoptable dogs. The Shelter’s adoption hours are Monday through Saturday, 10a to 5p. Look online at the dogs readily available for adoption and be sure to also look at dogs currently impounded at the shelter. Any who are not reclaimed by their owners during the five-day hold time could be available to adopt.
