June is national Adopt A Shelter Cat Month and it’s an ideal time to bring a kitty into your home, since the spring and summer months typically bring a surge of kittens and cats to the Greenwood County Animal Shelter.
During the month of June, adoption fees for adult cats, six months and older, are $5, and kittens up to six months old are $25, or adopt two kittens for the regular price of one.
All adopted cats are: 1) Spayed or neutered; 2) Feline Leukemia tested; 3) Vaccinated; and 4) Microchipped. One free wellness exam with Chinquapin Animal Hospital, Emerald City Animal Hospital, or Greenwood Veterinary Hospital is included.
