Pets of the Week Monday 23, 2022

Toby

Toby can prove that love is blind. This kind-hearted, 2-year-old, brown Terrier mix is hoping for a home that will make him feel the love he deserves. Toby arrived at the shelter showing some unusual mannerisms. After visiting with the vet it was learned that he has detached retinas. This hasn’t stopped him from being a regular playful pup.

Pets of the Week – Quavo and Whiskers (4/18 – 4/23/22)

Quavo

At 65 pounds, Quavo is a rumble, tumble playful Terrier. His ears both flop down and perk up giving an “I’m listening” Frasier vibe. Some of the talents on his resume include sitting, waiting, and lying down. And, his asking wage for those skillsets is simply a steady stream of treats. Throw a few tennis balls and toys out in the yard for him to play with and you’ll have a devoted friend for life.

PETS OF THE WEEK: Bravo and Suzie (4/4 – 4/9/22)

Bravo

Who wouldn’t want to be named Bravo? You’d feel appreciated by every call of your name, then could reply with a hearty, “Why, thank you!” This Bravo, a medium-sized, AmStaff Terrier, is very deserving of compliments. He’s perfected the art of people pleasing and that’s because he’s learned he’ll get treats when he does.

Pets of the Week (3/7 – 3/12): Omega and Mango

Omega

OMG, Omega! What breed(s) is this dog? This neutered male appears to be part American Staffordshire Terrier, but as you look at the rest of his body, his fuzzy tall ears, and into his dark brown eyes, it’s really a toss-up. What really matters is that he loves both people and dogs and has been very well-behaved around children.

Pets of the Week: Twister and Sonny

Twister

This rust-tinted American Staffordshire Terrier will melt your heart with his hazel brown eyes. Twister is not only man’s best friend, he also enjoys the fellowship of his other pooch pals. And, as with all dogs, being showered with attention and affection simply sends him to doggie nirvana. Taking walks, running around the yard,

Pets of the Week – Lizzie and Grace

Lizzie — Adopted

Little Lizzie was found and brought to the shelter. She was very underweight and, frankly, sad. Thanks to some TLC, she is a Big Lizzie who now walks on a leash, loves attention, and plays with squeaker toys. She has learned to sit for treats and is very playful. It seems that Lizzie had been living with little or no attention or affection,
