The Humane Society of Greenwood is looking for individuals who believe that “cleanliness is next to godliness” to fill part-time Animal Care Attendant positions at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. READ THE JOB DESCRIPTION BEFORE APPLYING. Only self-motivated, hard-working, teachable, direction-following folks need apply.
Weekend work required, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must.

Third Annual Animal House Toga Party at Grand Harbor a Big Success!
More than eighty Grand Harbor residents and other other club members gathered to “rock the rescues” at the third annual Animal House Toga Party benefiting the Humane Society of Greenwood. More than $9,000 was raised in support of the agency’s efforts on behalf of the area’s homeless animals.

Adoptable Dogs At Petsmart Saturday, August 17!
The Humane Society of Greenwood will be at Petsmart in Greenwood, SC from 12p to 4p with adoptable dogs from the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. Reuben, Sable (pictured), and other available pooches will be there for you to visit, play with, and adopt! Available cats are always at the store for you to visit. We’ll look forward to seeing you there!

Volunteer Level Two Orientation
Ready to take your volunteerism to the next level? We are offering a special Orientation Class to existing HSOG volunteers that will train them to help the dogs be more adoptable and to provide them with much-needed enrichment.
