June is Adopt-A-Shelter Cat Month!

The Humane Society of Greenwood is celebrating the American Humane Association’s national Adopt-A-Cat Month this June. It’s an ideal time to adopt a feline, since the spring and summer months typically bring a surge of kittens and cats to the nation’s shelters.

Each spring during “kitten season,” thousands of newborn kittens join the millions of cats already in shelters across the country.
