Brewer Middle School Helps Shelter Animals

The Humane Society of Greenwood was selected by Brewer Middle School’s Student Council to receive a collection of supplies to help the animals at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. The Humane Society of Greenwood was selected by the GMFCU Board of Directors to receive a donation from monies collected through their “Skip-A-Pay” program. “Furry Friends of Fitness” Gives the Shelter Animal a Second Christmas!

Wellness Works of Self Regional Healthcare held “Furry Friends of Fitness,” a fund raiser to benefit the Humane Society of Greenwood. During the January event members and staff donated 200 lbs. of dry food, 311 cans of wet food, 134 rolls of paper towels, plus blankets, toys, dish soap, laundry detergent, and other needed items.
