Adult Cat Adoption Fees Reduced!
We are reducing the adoption fees indefinitely for adult cats, one-year and older, to $15! All cats adopted from the Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, feline leukemia-tested, and microchipped. That’s a lot of “bang for your buck!” And here are some reasons why adopting an adult cat may better suit your lifestyle and home:
What you see is what you get.
The Sunshine House Paid the Shelter Animals a Visit
Twenty-eight children from The Sunshine House paid the shelter animals a visit and, as you can see, had a wonderful time! Along with their big smiles and big hearts, they brought donations of supplies, all of which we appreciated so much. Thank you to the Sunshine House staff and children for making our Monday so much fun!
Will You Help?
At this time of year, litters of puppies and kittens are carried through the shelter door in boxes, clothes hampers, makeshift traps, and containers that were never designed for animal transport. The devoted mothers of the sweet little ones often accompany their offspring. With the increase in animals comes an increase in costs.

It’s an ideal time to adopt a feline, since the spring and summer months typically bring a surge of kittens and cats to the nation’s shelters. The Humane Society of Greenwood encourages people to enrich their lives by adopting a cat.
