Join us at Petsmart in Greenwood Friday, 11/15 (12p – 4p), Saturday, 11/16 (11a – 4p), and Sunday, 11/17 (1p – 4p) to meet and adopt available dogs and cats from the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. Adoption fees for dogs adopted from the event are reduced to $60. We look forward to seeing you there!

The HSOG has been selected by the ASPCA as one of the beneficiaries of the 9Lives Morris’ Rescue Watch grant to receive an entire pallet of cat food! We will be picking it up in December from a distribution center in Atlanta. We may be soliciting volunteer help to pick up the food and bring it back to Greenwood.

We will be selling 2014 HOPE Calendars at Monday night’s Holiday Showcase at Piedmont Technical College’s James Medford Family Event Center located at 620 N. Emerald Road, Building N in Greenwood, SC. The event is held by the Business Professional Women’s Club to benefit the Greenwood Cancer Fund. The Humane Society of Greenwood (HSOG) will hold a microchip clinic on Saturday, October 26th, 2012. The event will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at the Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic facility, which is located at 241 Wilbanks Circle in Greenwood (behind the Greenwood County Animal Shelter). The microchip implant and registration are available for $15.00.
