June is Adopt-A-Shelter Cat Month!
The Humane Society of Greenwood is celebrating the American Humane Association’s national Adopt-A-Cat Month this June. It’s an ideal time to adopt a feline, since the spring and summer months typically bring a surge of kittens and cats to the nation’s shelters.
Each spring during “kitten season,” thousands of newborn kittens join the millions of cats already in shelters across the country.

Adoptable Dogs at Walmart Saturday, May 25
Visit us at Walmart Supercenter in Greenwood Saturday, May 25, from 10a to 1p, where we’ll be handing out Purina coupons and “freebies” while supplies last. Adoptable dogs Emerson, Sugar (pictured), and Bonnie will be on-hand to meet-and-greet!
