This year’s Chili’s Annual Sizzlin’ Showdown Golf Tournament is Wednesday, May 16. We are selling hole sponsorships again this year for a $50 tax-deductible donation. Last year over 60 signs were sponsored, which was the most ever for this event! And last year’s sponsors really had fun with creating their own mini-billboard to honor,
Library Club Makes Donation to Greenwood Humane Society
Ninety Six High School Library Club donates to The Greenwood Humane Society. Each year The Library Club chooses a local charity. This year the club decided to donate to The Greenwood Humane Society to spread the spirit of giving to their communities. Originally reported by Greenwood Today.
Field Trip Friday March 16th
We’ll be at the Bi-Lo Store on Hwy 25N with some adoptable dogs this Friday from 10AM to 2PM. Please come out and visit with us!Ā We’ll post closer to Friday which dogs we plan to take on our little “field trip.”

We have received many, many invitations for speaking engagements, civic events, and school room activities. Soldier (AKA Trigger) Reunited!
GREAT NEWS! Soldier (AKA Trigger), who had been at the shelter since November 18, 2011, has been reunited with his original owner! Turns out that Soldier is a four-time Grand Night Champion American English Coonhound. His once “hopeless” situation has turned out to be FANTASTIC and anything but hopeless.
