3-year-old, Boxer/Chow Chow mix Shelby has been the “go-to girl” for showing shy dogs people can be trustworthy and giving fearful dogs hope for a happy life. She exudes joy romping around the yard with her puppy pals and being their caring teacher.

PetSmart National Adoption Event, November 15-16
Join us at Petsmart in Greenwood, SC from 11a to 3p on Saturday and 1p to 4p on Sunday to meet and adopt available dogs and cats from the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. Adoption fees for dogs and cats will be discounted 50%!
PetSmart will be offering pizza and drinks and adopters will be eligible to enter a drawing for a PetSmart gift basket.

Volunteer Orientation, Saturday, November 1, 10a – 11a
Volunteer help is vital for helping save animals’ lives. Volunteers are needed to perform a variety of services, including kennel enrichment, socialization and dog walking, assist at community adoption events, fund raising, administrative tasks, helping with animal transport, bathing and grooming, providing basic training to dogs, general or spot cleaning kennels or sharing other skills.
