Come find out the meaning of unconditional love just in time for Valentine’s Day by adopting a new furry friend from Greenwood County Animal Shelter’s Adoption Center.
Between February 1 and February 15, dog adoption fees will be discounted to $75. Adult cat fees will remain at $15 and kittens at $50.

The Humane Society of Greenwood will be at Petsmart in Greenwood, SC from 10a to 2p with adoptable dogs from the Greenwood County Animal Shelter. Magic (pictured), Picket, Dempsey, and Pinky will be on hand. Available cats are always at the store for you to visit. We’ll look forward to seeing you there!

Typical for a Chocolate Lab (mix), Flip Flop is very social and especially loves the company of children. She’s a young dog, around one to two-years-old, and her youthful energy abounds. We are beginning an educating process for the community about TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release). The only real solution to reduce the number of feral cats, and reduce the euthanasia of feral cats in local shelters, is to reduce their reproduction through trap, neuter, and release efforts.
