Pets of the Week – October 15, 2012

Tiny’s no longer tiny! He was so named because of his “teeniness” when he and his two siblings came to the shelter. Both his sister and brother have been adopted and now, at 5 months old, Tiny feels he’s ready to leave the nest. He has not had any exposure to the outside world and feels more comfortable hanging out inside where he can easily access the people of the house and their most comfortable furniture.

Pets of the Week – October 8, 2012

She’s so happy she grins ear to ear, and she struts her gorgeous Pit-girl/mix stuff so gracefully she earned the name “Broadway.” But that’s the extent of the drama in her; this intelligent 2-year-old’s so cooperative your wish is her command. She’ll “sit” and fetch with glee, and even kennel herself on request — but her heartfelt favorite place to be is right by your side.

Microchip Clinic on October 13th

The Humane Society of Greenwood (HSOG) will hold a microchip clinic on Saturday, October 13, 2012. The event will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic facility, which is located at 241 Wilbanks Circle in Greenwood (behind the Greenwood County Animal Shelter). The microchip implant and registration are available for $15.00.
