Field Trip Friday March 16th
We’ll be at the Bi-Lo Store on Hwy 25N with some adoptable dogs this Friday from 10AM to 2PM. Please come out and visit with us! We’ll post closer to Friday which dogs we plan to take on our little “field trip.”

Red-nosed Pit Bulls are considered rather rare, but the Humane Society of Greenwood has a gorgeous mix right under your nose! Miss Eve is the perfect dog waiting oh so patiently for her forever home. You can often seen Eve stretched out resting contently in the yard as if she was Cleopatra overlooking her subjects.

Salem is a hunka hunka burning love brimming with sugary sweet affection. He is very talkative and ready to accompany you as you perform your household routines or enjoy your recreational activities. I am comfortable indoors or out — a little of both worlds is great for me. Some of my favorite activities include sunbathing and long naps on any comfy surface I can find.

GREAT NEWS! Soldier (AKA Trigger), who had been at the shelter since November 18, 2011, has been reunited with his original owner! Turns out that Soldier is a four-time Grand Night Champion American English Coonhound. His once “hopeless” situation has turned out to be FANTASTIC and anything but hopeless.

Dana is a one year old “foxy” terrier who is quite adept at finding ways to get to your heart. She takes her time to warm up, constantly assessing what she likes about you, and once you’re “a-okay,” then she will allow you to spend time with her. Murphy was abandoned by his owners but his heart emerged unscathed;
